Course Outline
Day 1 & 2 - acupressure and acuneedling for pre-birth, during labour and post-natal care
Day 3 & 4 - emotional health, moxa and press needles
Day 5 - low back/pelvic pain & practical assessment

All resources are available on a moodle classroom for you. If you think you might have difficulty completing these requirements please let Lee-Ana know.
Please be aware that midwives are unable to charge for acuneedling in a private capacity with information from this course. Information from this workshop can only be used as a part of normal midwifery practice as has been approved by the Midwifery Council. To be able to charge privately, midwives would need to complete adequate Chinese medical training and become registered with the Chinese Medicine Council.
If you are a core midwife please check with your employer that you are able to use these techniques within your practice.

Early bird period = the period prior to 3 months from day 1 of the course start.
Cancellation Policy – Full refund given for cancellations prior to the early bird period. 50% refunds for cancellations after the early bird period expires. For cancellations 10 working days before day 1 of the course start no refund however it is possible to transfer your place to a colleague if you wish.
Full refunds will be given in the event the course can not go ahead due to lack of numbers or Lee-Ana is unable to teach for some reason.
Due to the travel, accommodation and organisation costs of these courses late cancellations can affect the ability to cover costs.
